ABOUT US

The Englewood–Greater Chatham Expanded Mental Health Services Program is a community-driven initiative working to expand access to free and low-cost, high-quality mental health care for residents. Established through the Community Expanded Mental Health Services Act and backed by over 91% voter approval, the program funds local organizations to provide prevention, early intervention, and culturally responsive care.

Rooted in the belief that communities know what they need, our work prioritizes addressing structural inequities, community violence, and trauma—not just treating symptoms, but supporting long-term healing. Guided by a resident-led Governing Commission, we are building a sustainable mental health system that is accessible, accountable, and shaped by the people it serves.
